NEW ROOTS: Fresh Stops
Thanks to the support of our wonderful communities, New Roots continues to grow. Through a partnership with the 2013 Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellows,
Developing a Smart Food Culture Group, we are pleased to offer a How-To Manual for Fresh Stops to anyone wanting to start a Fresh Stop. Click the link to download a free copy. The Bingham Fellows have also compiled an Internal Fresh Stop Manual that serves as a guide for working with farmers to supply a Fresh Stop. Please contact us before implementation of either of these free resources.
Our Fresh Stops are open to everyone. Some operate on a sliding scale. Produce shares are ordered one to two weeks in advance and are full of the bounty of Kentuckiana's seasonal produce. With each share, there is a newsletter with recipes and information from our farmers.
